Enel increasingly stands out as a world leader in renewable energy generation.
To have an idea of the energy generated by the company in 20221 was 119 Twh. represents approximately all the consumption of the South and Central West regions of Brazil in the same year (source: EPE).
Enel Green Power has set a new record in 2021 by building 5120MW of new renewable capacity, including 220MW of battery capacity.
This figure represents an increase of 2014MW (+64.8%) compared to the renewable capacity built in 2020.
The new renewable capacity built by Enel Green Power during 2021 includes around 70 plants, mainly wind (2596MW) and solar (2238 MW).
